Mike & Amanda’s Engagement Photos

Mike & Amanda had a destination wedding out in Montana - just 30 minutes north of Yellowstone. We decided last minute to shoot some prewedding portraits the day before during the rehearsal dinner! We’re glad we did!

Family and close friends were invited to the dinner - you could feel the good vibes from everyone!

They chose such a great location - The Livingston Depot Center. It is a train station that has been converted into a museum - very cool.

Here is the “engagement photos” the night before their destination wedding. Woohoo!

Tyler, Adriana & Natalie Portraits

After interviewing a few other photographers, Tyler & Adriana decided to hire Austin & I to shoot their wedding. We are so excited! This is a few of our favorites from their Engagement/Family portrait session a few weeks back.

Of course Adriana’s daughter Natalie had to get into the photos, and that’s when the real fun started!

Jose & Jennifer Engagement Photos

Jose & Jennifer are such an awesome couple! As soon as we met them, it felt like we had known them for years. They chose one of our favorite locations: Hendry’s Beach. Enjoy!

This last one was a bit tricky! Imagine getting 3 dogs to face the camera and smile… To make it harder, there were about 30 dogs running around the beach park right behind us - we managed to snap a few good ones though.

Jason & Ashley Engagement Portraits

It is always cool to meet a couple that is recently engaged! There love is so contagious. Austin & I met with these two after their Mass finished and took photos until the sun began setting. It was an awesome shoot - we got to know each other and got to talk about the excitement of planning a wedding! We are really looking forward to photographing their wedding in February!

The Santa Barbara Mission is a great location for an Engagement Shoot if anyone is looking for a good place in Santa Barbara. There are just so many possible photos there - it’s incredible.

Bob & Jerzy Engagement Session

Bob & Jerzy are a great couple of guys that called us last minute to shoot their wedding. These photos were taken the day before the wedding as an engagement shoot. Sunset at the marina worked out really well and we had a blast.

PJ & Andrea’s Engagement Portraits

PJ & Andrea are a really laid back couple who we got along with great! We hung out with them for a few hours at Hendry’s beach and got to know them - we are blessed to work with such great people!

Kristy & Greta Engagement Photos

This was our first lesbian engagement shoot - what a trip! These two are really in love, and we had a blast hanging out with them for an hour or so before the shoot.

Although these chicas were already planning on having a wedding, the new California law will actually make it official - they are so excited!

When they get married, it will not only be the first gay wedding we’ve ever photographed, but the first we’ve ever attended as well. We can’t wait!

These girls were tearin it up on their skateboards. Of course, I had to show them a few moves myself afterwards. Thankfully I managed to hold on to the camera when I fell.
